Special Entry for JPA Scholars
(Especially Statistics students)
Flow to claim Internship & Thesis Allowance
Internship Allowance (RM10/working day)
Rules:
1) Internship place must at least 25km from university
2) Do not receive government allowance RM15/day (Who intern in government office)
3) Apply within 30 days after you complete your internship
Steps
1) Download claim form from esilav2@jpa.gov.my
2) Fill in the form with all require signatures & chops.
3) Attach your punch card copy OR
get a letter of 'Pengesahan Kehadiran' from your internship company (With company letter head, chop & number of days you attend must state clearly on the letter)
4)Send to JPA (by hand / postage)
My experience
I just sent the application via postage. Got the money after a month.
My Suggestion
Do intern in private company.
So, you will get allowance from company + you may claim additional allowance from JPA. yeay!!
This allowance is ADDITIONAL. You still get the RM4K++ in the early of semester.
Thesis Allowance (RM250)
(As Statistics students do not have FYP/Thesis, use Internship report to claim this allowance)
Steps
1)Download claim form from esilav2@jpa.gov.my
2) Fill in the form with all require signatures & chops.
3) Send to JPA (by hand / postage)
***JPA may require a copy of our thesis/report.
My experience
